Attunement

I am excited to add a new yoga and meditation class to my weekly teaching schedule: Attune Body+Mind, Mondays at noon, eastern time. This 75 minute class includes a 15 minute meditation — if you only have 60 minutes, there will be a natural break to return to your day at 1 pm. The first class will be on November 16, 2020.

I look forward to taking you through standing and seated poses, backbends and rest, inspired by the Iyengar tradition with different themes each week of the month. I love to work in detail and depth, and this class will have room for this kind of attention. After months of not practicing in the same space as my students, I will recommend “cameras on” so we can engage in a more direct interaction. This is the beauty of live teaching, even if it is online — we are working together, in real time.

This class will be more active than the popular Saturday Unwind & Restore class which I have been running online since the beginning of the pandemic. Nonetheless, this class will be accessible for all levels of experience, fitness, and flexibility, with all your diverse bodies in mind. The practice is so adaptable — and that’s half the fun!
