Light on the fold

The light landed flatteringly on two pieces from the Fold Series this morning, reminding me that they had not yet been photographed. The photos below are of Fold #5 and Fold #6, where I used only white glaze. Earlier versions used grey, blue, and white glazes. The framing question for this ongoing project was, how much can porcelain behave like cloth? It became also, how much like body? How much like landscape, mountain folds against the sky?
