Sky Mandalas at Frock

I am thrilled to announce that a complete set of Sky Mandalas will be featured and for sale at a favourite Toronto boutique starting next week! Frock is a fabulous fashion destination, and a small, woman-owned business that opened just a year before I went solo with my design company, Visual Creative. There was such a flourishing of small creative businesses in our Roncesvalles neighbourhood in the early oughts. It’s a bit hard to tell which direction we are pointed now as some steadfast businesses have closed post-pandemic, but I am hopeful we’ll see a positive turn in the coming year.

Watch for more details but for now — save the date for some in-person shopping after December 12. Scarves will be available in the store in silk habotai, in the 36” square size. Silk habotai is incredibly fine and light, and quite translucent. The pattern shows through on both sides. Come see (and touch) for yourself!

All scarves can also be had now in silk charmeuse, made to order, in 36” and 50” sizes — this silk is a heavier weight and more opaque. The patterns print on silk charmeuse in absolutely stunning clarity on the front. The back shows the pattern at about 50-80%.

Please note, if you are considering ordering for the holiday season, it takes 6+ business days for the scarves to be made to order, plus shipping. Because that work flow is out of my control, I cannot guarantee arrival on time, but I would be very optimistic about orders made by December 8, 2023 getting to their destination on time.
