Winter Solstice

Predominantly snowy white winter scene, with a repeating pattern of red and blue houses and trees on sloping hillsides.

How swiftly we are coming to the close of the Autumn Sangha! Only two more sessions, and then Winter Solstice is upon us. I have added a special session to the calendar for that evening — a beautiful night to burn candles and invoke the return of the light.

Winter Solstice Sangha
7:30–8:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 21, 2021

I am preparing for our second Turn the Year Retreat, excited to share a trio of approaches in each session. We will integrate meditative, somatic, and expressive practices—they go so well together! What better way to close the year and begin anew, than in mindful, playful, creative explorations?

December 27 – 31, 2021
8:30–9 :30 a.m.

This retreat is intended to be accessible to beginners and experienced practitioners alike, and is offered on a sliding scale. No experience with meditation or yoga or art is required — just bring your curious self! Please feel free to write with questions if you are unsure.

I look forward to deep listening, play, rest, and reflection in these five days, readying the candles and bells to ring in the New Year.

Winter Sangha will start on January 4, and run through March 15, 2022.
